Travel information
The Dynasim office is located in the Alfa building of Research Park Ideon, visiting address Scheelevägen 15. This is the building just north of "Sparta" (see map). Lund is situated in the southern part of Sweden, close to Malmö and Copenhagen in Denmark.
If you arrive by air
There are two airports close to Lund: one is Malmö (Sturup) Airport located 30 km south-east of Lund. The other one is Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) which is in Denmark.
Malmö Airport to Lund
Malmö Airport (Sturup) has frequent connections with Stockholm but only a few regular international flights. There is a bus service (flygbuss) from the airport to central Lund, usually in connection with planes from Stockholm. Taxi should cost around SEK 400 and it is about a 30 minutes drive. Be sure to check the price before you take the taxi. We recommend that you travel by either "Taxi Skåne" or "Taxi Kurir". If you use the company "Taxi Skåne" and mention "Ideon Business Agreement" you will get a discount.
Copenhagen Airport to Malmö
Most people traveling to Lund will come through Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup. From there you will continue to Lund via Malmö.
* Train over the Öresund bridge to Malmö central station leaves every 20 minutes from Copenhagen Airport. Many of the trains continues to Lund. Information from the speakers on the train. Tickets can be bought in special vending machines (danish money), in the DSB office (credit card) or on the train (swedish and danish money, cost SEK 30 extra). Cost around SEK 85 to Malmö and SEK 110 to Lund.
Malmö to Lund
* From the railway station in Malmö you can go to Lund by train. Many of the trains over the bridge continues to Lund or you can go by the fairly convenient service of local trains - "Pågatågen" - (blueish-purple) running every 15 minutes, less frequently on evenings and weekends. Tickets for the local trains can only be bought in special vending machines. Cost around SEK 36.
* You can also take a taxi. A taxi from Malmö to Lund cost about SEK 275. Be sure to check the price before you take the taxi. We recommend that you travel by either "Taxi Skåne" or "Taxi Kurir". If you use the company "Taxi Skåne" and mention "Ideon Business Agreement" you will get a discount.
If you arrive in Lund by train
* Local bus: There is a bus stop located 200 m northeast of the railway station in Lund. To Dynasim: take bus 166 ("Lundalänken") to "Ideon." To Hotel Sparta: take bus 1 to "Sparta". Cost SEK 12.
* Taxi: Ask for "Ideon Alfa", Scheelevägen 15. Be sure to check the price before you take the taxi. We recommend that you travel by either "Taxi Skåne" or "Taxi Kurir". If you use the company "Taxi Skåne" and mention "Ideon Business Agreement" you will get a discount.
* By foot: To walk takes about 25 minutes, if you know where you are going.
